The occupational therapist is trained in order to care for patients regardless of their needs. The therapist can evaluate the patient to determine what services are going to be needed to help the patient reach their goals.

Occupational therapy jobs are important in the lives of individuals suffering from any sort of disorder or disability, whether mental, physical or emotional. They are trained to take care of people with special needs. Different patients have different needs, which are why occupational therapists are trained to apply various kinds of methods suited for each type of patient, to help them heal from any trauma or disability they are suffering from.

The role of each occupational therapist varies. Some instances may require them to help people do simple activities such as lifting bags, folding clothes, driving cars, which involve physical exercises. At times, they will need to exercise patients to improve mental alertness or memory.

Radiology is the medical procedure of using radiation for a variety of ‘imaging’ purposes. This includes X-rays, Radiant dye, ultrasound and MRIs. These procedures create an image of the inner configuration of an object, in this case, the human body with the use of radiant energy.

In the medical field the science of radiology is a specialization, it takes great understanding and skill to operate radiology equipment and analyse the results. A radiologist is able to interpret results to determine the location, type and seriousness of a vast quantity of medical issues.

The practice is used to obtain an understanding of any medical issues even if an expert has examined a patient. Radiology results can recognize issues ranging from broken bones to tumours and other medial irregularities.

Most facilities employ a radiologist for on site assistance in consulting on a diagnosis and those who do not have access to these skills are required to send the image for outside interpretation and await the results.

A radiologist has a duty to obtain the finest possible images and review them expertly as radiology plays a key role in diagnosing a patient. A blunder at this stage could lead to misdiagnosis of a patients conditions or overlooking something serious.
