Great Audition Tips
There are some basic strategies and ideas to pay attention to whenever you’re going off on the next audition in your modeling or acting career. You must present yourself in the proper manner and show everyone at the audition that you belong there and have what it takes.
You’ve got to relax. Even if you perform better than someone else, if that other person is more relaxed in their performance, the director may leave the audition feeling better about them than you. Be sure to relax your feelings and be alert but not too alert.
Perfecting Your Audition Approach
In preparation for being relaxed before you hit the audition, you should get good at practicing your breathing. When you can control your breathing through deep breathing exercises, you’re going to get more oxygen to your brain and this results in an alert brain and relaxed heartbeat.
Once you enter your audition, you should pay great attention to how you shake hands with the director. Be sure to great each director with a strong professional handshake rather than a weak, limp one. This is your first and last impression so do a good job with your handshake. Read more...

If you have dreamt of being an actor or model follow these simple precautions to avoid being a scam victim. Make sure your agency is licensed, has been in business for a while and that they don’t guarantee you work.
You will find there may be agencies out there preying on your anxiousness to become a star and using that to only rip you off. If they’re licensed, they have to follow the rules set forth by their state and so it is highly likely they will abide by them. Don’t worry though, most agencies are in the business for the right reasons, it’s just the small percent that you need to be aware of.
Shopping for Your Talent Agency
Now, find out how long they’ve been in business because this will tell you their level of success. If they’ve been around, they must have a good track record and that means good contacts. That’s what you want.
Anyone who guarantees work is probably out to scam you for some of your hard earned money. Don’t fear it, just don’t sign with them. When they pass these tests, great, you’ve found a good partner to possibly launch your career. Read more...

The One With The Jellyfish: Ross dumps Bonnie, which takes all night; she leaves in the morning. Meanwhile, Rachel writes a long letter to Ross that she needs him to read before they get back together; he tries to read it but falls asleep… then has to fake it when she asks him about it; Ross agrees with the letter before he finds out what it says; once he finds out the letter asks him to accept the breakup was all his fault, he’s not sure he can keep up the charade. Phoebe is upset that her real mother never tried to contact her; she tells her mother she never wants to see her again, but her mother finally convinces her to reconcile. Ursula knew about their real mother all along, but never told Phoebe. Monica, Chandler, and Joey spend the day on the beach; Joey digs a hole; Monica gets stung by a jellyfish. Joey remembers that peeing on a jellyfish sting takes the pain away; Monica “can’t bend that way” and Joey gets “Stage Fright,” leaving Chandler.
